Oracle Real World Performance Tour – Hyderabad (#RWP, #RWPHyderabad)

A Wonderful experience being a Coorganizer of Oracle Real World Performance Tour (#RWP) at Hyderabad. The Day started with a keynote from Mr. Hemav Mahanta Sr. Vice President Tech Mahindra, followed by lighting the lamp by Hemav, Tony Chen (Sr. manager, Oracle) Andrew Holdsworth (Vice President Oracle), Toon Koppelaars & Christine Qu. The technical experts started the day by explaining a ‘Top View’ approach and to think differently when analyzing the System Performance. Later on, the explanation of Application Architecture, whether the Logic to be embedded at the Application Server or DB server was well explained by taking ADF application as an example.
After a sumptuous lunch, the Expert team explained about the best practices of migrating Applications/Database to Cloud (Including SQL Profiles, Baselines etc), by giving various examples. The last session, which was on ‘AWR Analysis’ was very interactive; the key areas to focus in an AWR report, which was explained by Toon definitely gave a ‘food for thought’ for many of us. Over all, the event was very well received by all the Delegates taking their time off from Work. I would like to thank all the Delegates, Co organizers Mukesh Sharma, Vinay Raj Malla for their support in making this event a successful one. Special thanks to Sai Janakiram Penumuru for the direction, support and guidance. Also, would like to thank Vinay Mistry and Satyendra Pasalapudi for the help.
